Abstract

En la presente investigación se elabora la estrategia de desarrollo local del municipio de Lajas, fusionando el trabajo del Centro Universitario Municipal y el gobierno del territorio, para la misma se hace un análisis histórico-lógico de la concepción de la gestión de proyectos y estrategias en función del desarrollo local, su objetivo principal es lograr de forma coordinada la resolución de las barreras y la utilización de las potencialidades que respondan a las prioridades del municipio, permitiendo de esta manera elevar la producción y la calidad de los servicios así como el mejoramiento de las condiciones de vida de la población. Se trata de maximizar el uso de los recursos del municipio e incrementar las capacidades de gestión de los actores locales, potenciando el camino de un proceso de desarrollo endógeno así como la prioridad a las actividades productivas gestadas desde y para el propio municipio.
