Compromiso Ambiental De Los Estudiantes Del Nivel Medio Superior

Abstract

El presente estudio considera la participación de de 300 estudiantes del nivel medio superior en la ciudad de Matamoros, Tamaulipas, México. El artículo persigue dar cuenta de los resultados obtenidos a partir del Proyecto "Actitudes ambientales en estudiantes de secundaria", de la Unidad Académica Multidisciplinaria Matamoros, dependiente de la Universidad Autónoma de Tamaulipas, en el periodo 2010. Dicho proyecto pretende identificar el nivel de conocimiento ambiental y el compromiso que tienen los estudiantes para solucionar problemas ambientales. El estudio tiene un diseño no experimental, transversal y descriptivo. La confiabilidad del instrumento alcanzó un coeficiente de 0.814, en la prueba estadística denominada alfa de Cronbach. Los cuestionamientos estuvieron en torno a conocimiento ambiental, problemas ambientales, pagar más, desarrollo económico, ciencia y tecnología, y participación en la solución de problemas ambientales.
