Áreas Protegidas: Aproximación A Su Proyección Socio-Económica Y Política En Centroamérica

Abstract

Ante las secuelas de la demanda de múltiples recursos naturales y su uso en cierta medida, irracional e insostenible, ha surgido la necesidad que la humanidad comience a considerar y establecer diferentes clasificaciones de áreas protegidas. En suma, todas tienen un fin en común: conservar los recursos naturales que aún existen y propiciar a través de su manejo sostenible, beneficios a las presentes y futuras generaciones. Manejadas correctamente, las áreas protegidas son casos verosímiles de potenciar interacción antropogénica y natural. El potencial de bienestar económico, social y político que pueda ofrecer un área protegida dependerá de la estrategia de manejo que desde principio, se pretenda emplear en ella. El objetivo de este ensayo es destacar casos éxitos en torno al manejo de áreas protegidas de ciertos países de Centroamérica. La metodología utilizada para este artículo se basó en la revisión bibliográfica apoyada con la observación monumental directa en campo por medio de procesos formativos que adquirió el autor.
