Abstract

La hipótesis de la existencia de la Curva de Kuznets Ambiental propone que el propio crecimiento económico es la solución de los problemas ambientales ya que la mejora del medio ambiente será una consecuencia casi inevitable del crecimiento económico. Aunque el análisis de la relación de esta hipótesis con las variables y políticas ambientales parecen conducir a conclusiones muy diferentes.
