Fusões e aquisições no setor bancário e os determinantes da criação de valor: análise bibliográfica a partir da web of science

Abstract

Este estudo objetiva identificar o panorama da produção científica internacional sobre as fusões e aquisições do setor bancário e quais fatores são apontados como determinantes da criação de valor nessas operações. Foi efetuada uma pesquisa bibliográfica e observou-se, dentre outros resultados, o crescimento no número de publicações sobre a temática. Os fatores identificados como determinantes para a criação de valor envolvem elementos referentes ao cenário e momento econômico em que tais operações ocorrem, ao formato de atuação dos bancos, ao relacionamento entre as instituições adquirentes e adquiridas, à forma de operacionalização da transação e a características específicas dos bancos envolvidos.
