Abstract

Con la introducción de tecnologías innovadoras de información y comunicación, se ha vuelto necesario tanto para las empresas como para las agencias gubernamentales brindar eficiencias a sus operaciones para la entrega rápida y sin fricciones de servicios a sus grupos de interés. En un mundo donde la tecnología ha revolucionado y automatizado los procesos comerciales de todas las organizaciones, se ha convertido en una necesidad para los departamentos del gobierno local utilizar los avances tecnológicos para mejorar sus operaciones. El artículo hace un análisis de cómo las tecnologías de la información y comunicación tienen un rol transcendental en la planificación estratégica del gobierno, se menciona además las diferentes tecnologías de información y comunicación que los departamentos del gobierno local pueden usar para mejorar sus operaciones en la atención al ciudadano.
