Abstract

Este artículo pone de relieve la importancia de la auditoría interna y externa en las empresas privadas y públicas, así como la normativa aplicable y los aspectos relevantes dentro de una organización. Auditoría y contabilidad son funciones esenciales en la gestión de las empresas públicas y privadas. La auditoría añade credibilidad a la información contable por lo tanto el aumento de la dependencia de los usuarios, tales como inversores, reguladores y legislativos. Contabilidad y auditoría son sistemas críticos para la gestión eficiente de las empresas públicas y privadas. Las partes interesadas utilizan los estados financieros auditados e informes de auditoría para evaluar el desempeño de los administradores y tomar decisiones de inversión, entre otros usos.
