Abstract

El presente artículo tiene como propósito desarrollar las características del socialismo real en China, sobre todo en su esfera económica y su funcionamiento: como se produce, distribuye, consume, acumula y el papel de los actores dentro de dicha esfera. Para ello, se explicará brevemente el origen del Estado moderno y luego se hará una breve referencia a las etapas del desarrollo económico. Dicho marco introductorio permitirá enfocarnos más adelante en el propósito. Considerando todas estos procesos, sumado a la incorporación de China a la OMC en 2001, es que el presente artículo se propone: por un lado, entender la magnitud del país asiático y cómo se fue asentando como potencia económica actualmente; y por otro, abrir debate respecto de ¿Qué tipo de modelo económico hablamos cuando hablamos de “la economía China†?
