El Euro De Dos Velocidades Y La Pã‰Rdida De Competitividad De Sus Paises Perifã‰Ricos

Abstract

Este trabajo revisa la pérdida de competitividad o la degradación del tipo de cambio real de los países periféricos del Euro durante la crisis de 2007. Lo hace fijándose en series anuales de tiempo y usando sobre todo un lenguaje gráfico. Se hace comparando datos de cuentas corrientes, inflación y tipo de cambio real absoluto. Se hace para tres grupos de países para resaltar diferencias y similitudes en la evolución de estas series. El comportamiento de los países periféricos se compara con los países del núcleo del Euro y éstos a su vez con 10 países desarrollados fuera del Euro.
