Abstract

En el actual contexto socioeconómico en que se desarrollan las relaciones sociales de producción en la mayoría de los países latinoamericanos que han decidido ser los máximos protagonistas de su desarrollo económico, se gestan factores de vital importancia para la consolidación y profundización de mecanismos de integración económica que se traduzcan en mayor autonomía y libertad financiera. El presente trabajo realiza un análisis minucioso sobre los antecedentes fundamentales del surgimiento y desarrollo de la Alianza Bolivariana para los pueblos de América (ALBA) y la necesidad histórica de este mecanismo de integración económica.
