La crisis del ´29, la gran depresión y la regulación de los mercados

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se intenta demostrar algunas de las causas que desembocaron en la crisis de 1929 en los EEUU y que luego se propagó al resto del mundo, llevando al mismo a un período de depresión. Desde la situación global luego de la Gran Guerra, pasando por el Pacto de Genova y las medidas tomadas por la Reserva Federal, hasta llegar al crack bursátil de octubre del ´29 que desembocaron en un conjunto de medidas tomadas por el Congreso de los EEUU, conocido como las leyes de valores federales.
