Estados Unidos: crisis y estancamiento económico

Abstract

La economía estadounidense se ha desarrollado, a partir del inicio de la crisis en el 2007, en una situación que se debate entre la crisis y el estancamiento. Para que la economía funcione necesita niveles de inversión significativos. En este caso, la inversión fija bruta tuvo una tasa media de crecimiento anual (TMCA) entre 2007 y 2010 de -5.72%, y una tasa global de -20.54%. Una inversión de esta naturaleza, además de ser bastante pobre, dista mucho de generar la posibilidad de un crecimiento que saque a los Estados Unidos de la debacle económica que vive.
