Abstract

Desde hace una década, un nuevo paradigma recorre el mundo, la globalización de la economía y la sociedad. Los sistemas productivos y los mercados adquieren, paulatinamente, dimensión global, el estado cede protagonismo y liderazgo a las empresas multinacionales, las nuevas tecnologías de la información, los transportes y las comunicaciones facilitan y refuerzan el funcionamiento y la interacción de las organizaciones. Además, el proceso de integración económica toma forma a medida que el modo de desarrollo industrial da paso al modo de desarrollo informacional.
