Abstract

La constitución de las Unidades Básicas de Producción Cooperativa (UBPC) puede considerarse como la transformación mas relevante en el sector agropecuario en Cuba, después de realizada la primera y segunda leyes de reforma agraria a principios de la revolución cubana.Desde su constitución estas entidades han transitado por diversas complejidades, las cuales han sido objeto de diversas investigaciones. El presente trabajo propone un modelo cualitativo para diagnosticar la gestión integral de la principales unidades productoras de caña en Cuba . Se realiza además un estudio de caso para las UBPC vinculadas a la empresa azucarera Héctor Rodríguez, ubicada en el municipio Sagua La Grande.
