Abstract

En este trabajo me propongo desarrollar una revisión bibliográfica y un debate analítico sobre algunos de los temas determinantes del bienestar de los pueblos latinoamericanos de nuestra era de globalización actual. Adelanto la hipótesis de que en países de América Latina los temas de menor prioridad social aparente han alcanzado un nivel de preocupación creciente en la comunidad en general, pero que no se refleja como discurso ni como acción política prioritaria en diversos líderes latinoamericanos.
