Abstract

Son muchos los factores que inciden en la determinación de la competitividad, término con un significado tan amplio que intelectuales como Paul Krugman ( Porter, 1997) han dicho que es una forma poética de así llamarle a la productividad. Su determinación se vuelve más difícil si se indica qué ésta puede y debe definirse macro y microeconómicamente; sectorial y regionalmente, en un punto o en un periodo de tiempo o digamos por tamaño de empresa.
