Responsabilidad Social Empresarial: Una opción de cambio impostergable

Abstract

En este trabajo de responde a un conjunto de cuestiones asociadas a la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial (RSE) que constituyen en sí puntos comunes de encuentro y desencuentro de criterios. ¿Cuál es el rol del Estado a la hora de crear un ambiente propicio a la RSE? ¿Hasta dónde están las empresas obligadas a actuar en beneficio de la sociedad? ¿Tiene el sector privado un compromiso real, o forma parte de su estrategia para crearse imagen? A esta, entre otras preguntas, es interés hacer frente dejando claro que la Responsabilidad Social Empresarial o corporativa constituye una de las claves para explicar el necesario devenir del sector empresarial, el nuevo escenario en que se desempeñan las organizaciones sociales y la tendencia hacia donde hemos de orientar nuestros pasos.
