Abstract

o presente trabalho visa situar a questão energética no quadro das transformações da reprodução social capitalista ente fins do século XX e início do XXI. Procura, também, captar as transformações do referido sistema no âmbito daquelas sociedades oriundas do sistema colonial, em primeiro lugar os países latino-americanos e, em particular, o Brasil. Ao proceder ao desdobramento do tema, obriga-se a vislumbrar as implicações prospectivas derivadas do processo histórico em andamento. Do ponto de vista metodológico, este trabalho compartilha da tese segundo a qual as relações entre o produtor e a produção contém todo o universo das relações sociais a serem estudadas. Daí ser este um ponto central a ser abordado com vistas à apreciação do futuro e consequente elaboração de alternativas sócio-econômicas de âmbito nacional e regional.
