La gestión de RRHH en las empresas turísticas. Una visión personal

Abstract

El turismo es una industria de servicios. Esto que parece obvio se hace cada vez más necesario repetir puesto que la gran mayoría de los empresarios turísticos parecen haberlo olvidado. El turismo es sobre todo servicio, repito, y el servicio no lo ofrece esa magnífica piscina olímpica que acabamos de inaugurar, ni esa espectacular entrada con revestimientos de mármol que causa admiración al que la ve por primera vez. El servicio lo ofrece ese camarero que corre sudoroso para atender 20 mesas él solo, ese cocinero que ha de ajustar como por arte de magia el coste del menú a un escandallo cada vez más tacaño, esa camarera de pisos que limpia la juerga del cliente la noche anterior.
