Abstract

El tiempo entre costuras es el debut de la escritora española contemporánea María Dueñas. Una vez publicado, es bien acogido por los lectores de todo el mundo. Este artículo trata principalmente del crecimiento de la protagonista Sira en el conflicto de amor y familia. Basado en la teoría literaria de la narración feminista construida por Susan Lanser, se analiza El tiempo entre costuras desde la perspectiva del Bildungsroman femenino. Se explica el modo narrativo de la "voz personal" y la ética familiar en esta novela. A pesar de todo, Sira no deja de seguir la independencia espiritual, a fin de explorar el auto-reconocimiento femenino, búsqueda de identidad y realización de valores.
