O cumprimento da lei de acesso à informação no instituto federal de educação ciência e tecnologia farroupilha – IFFar

Abstract

O objetivo deste artigo é analisar se as informações disponibilizadas pelo IFFar atendem o estabelecido na LAI, com o intuito de assegurar a transparência e o aperfeiçoamento dos processos da gestão acadêmica. Para atingir o objetivo a que se propõe o presente trabalho a metodologia utilizada foi o estudo de caso. Para embasamento teórico foi utilizada a pesquisa bibliográfica a fim de se traçar uma breve descrição de conceitos como transparência pública, accontability, portais de transparência e governança, destacando os principais aspectos de caracterização. A análise aponta que o IFFar atende a maioria das exigências previstas na LAI, como as informações de natureza gerencial e organizacional, porém as de natureza contábil, como balanços e demonstrações não foram localizadas. Conclui-se que as unidades do Instituto Federal Farroupilha fazem uso de uma importante ferramenta de governança pública permitindo o acesso a todos os seus stakeholders, que é o Portal da Transparência do Governo Federal, porém, ainda faltam algumas informações de suma importância para cumprir o que determina a Lei de Acesso à Informação.
