Institucionalização e metropolização do espaço: o caso da região metropolitana de União da Vitória (Paraná, Brasil)

Abstract

A Constituição Federal Brasileira de 1988, instituiu o direito da criação de regiões metropolitanas no país por parte dos Estados. Como resultado, diversas metrópoles realizaram esta institucionalização com interesses políticos e econômicos e não considerando as características metropolitanas. O objetivo deste estudo é analisar o projeto de lei complementar n°12 de 2015, que instituiu a Região Metropolitana de União da Vitória, localizada no sudeste do Paraná, no sul do Brasil. A metodologia se desenvolveu a partir da definição de oito indicadores, os quais são subdivididos nas dimensões Estrutural, Físico-territorial e Integração.
