Abstract

Los medios de comunicación cumplen un rol destacado, en un contexto local, nacional y mundial, a través de su labor de informar, educar y concienciar; en virtud que casi todas las teorías y modelos presentados en el área de la comunicación en salud están enfocados en la formación de la conducta del ser humano de manera independiente. La presente investigación se fundamenta en el análisis de los diferentes procesos aplicados por los medios de comunicación al momento de difundir contenidos relacionados a las medidas de prevención en el campo de la salud pública. La investigación se caracterizó por aplicar una metodología descriptiva, explorativa y aplicada a los modelos más exitosos en comunicación de salud, con un enfoque cualitativo.
