Imagens primordiais do sertão baiano por Wilson Lins

Abstract

A filosofia existencialista Nietzschiana se faz presente na trilogia escrita por Wilson Lins: Os Cabras do Coronel (1964), O Reduto (1965) e Remanso da Valentia (1967), trazendo uma narrativa de imagens mundanas significativas da vida social do sertão do Rio São Francisco, na Bahia. Essas obras fazem parte de um estudo maior entorno à recepção de Nietzsche no Brasil a partir da Bahia: Wilson Lins e suas circunstâncias. O presente artigo é resultado dessa perspectiva de analise para refletir sobre o material empírico da narrativa literária, vinculada a expressões agradáveis, amigáveis, tristes, fúnebres que dão sentido à vida e à morte, ao sentimento de “estar-no-mundo†, onde forças materiais e espirituais presentes nas vontades humanas, as quais configuram uma estética artística figurativa do ser e viver numa região de nordestinos brasileiros.
