Indicadores de la calidad del e-learning

Abstract

Con el incremento de la accesibilidad a internet en Cuba, el e-learning o formación virtual, comienza a adquirir cada vez mayor relevancia. Teniendo en cuenta la masividad que es posible alcanzar en esta modalidad de educación y en función de satisfacer las expectativas de los clientes, además de la eficacia con que se alcanzan los objetivos del proceso educativo, es que se hace necesario contar con indicadores que permitan evaluar la calidad de los cursos en esta modalidad. En este sentido, el Ministerio de Educación Superior de Cuba (MES) dispone que la evaluación de la calidad de los programas de posgrado a distancia debe cumplir los mismos requisitos de calidad que los programas presenciales (MES, 2019). Sin embargo, el enfoque de esta legislación, además de no tener en cuenta las características intrínsecas de los procesos educativos que transcurren bajo esta modalidad, establece indicadores de calidad demasiado generales con respecto a los cursos que se realizan a través del e-learning.
