A educação enquanto constituinte da relação indivíduo e sociedade no pensamento de Durkheim

Abstract

A relação entre o indivíduo e a coletividade e sua intermediação ontológico via educação que forma valores e cria laços é a questão central desse debate, pois nas sociedades pautadas pela solidariedade orgânica o homem se torna mais consciente de si e começa a questionar valores; condicionados por uma maior individualização.Partindo da análise do trabalho de Èmile Durkheim, examinar a intima relação entre indivíduo, sociedade e educação; apontando para uma nova percepção acadêmica e política de sua contribuição pedagógica, que já foi taxada de conservadora e ultrapassada, mas que parece estar renascendo justamente após o centenário de sua morte. Este trabalho tem por objetivo, traçar uma análise sobre a teoria de Èmile Durkheim reconhecendo a contribuição de seus pensamentos para a educação e a sociedade.
