Sustentabilidade aplicada na administração pública municipal – estudo de caso de BOMBINHAS/SC

Abstract

Muito se fala na urgência de melhoria da administração pública brasileira, mas como isso é possível? O presente trabalho é um estudo de caso e tem como objetivo compreender como são gerenciadas as práticas que visam estimular o desenvolvimento sustentável na administração pública da cidade turística de Bombinhas/SC. Fundamentado em conceitos sobre o desenvolvimento, cidades e turismo sustentável, o estudo identifica e descreve ações e políticas adotadas pela administração pública municipal nos três pilares do desenvolvimento sustentável: econômico, social e ambiental; e analisa os efeitos em indicadores de desempenho relacionados a estas dimensões. O resultado do estudo demonstra ser exequível que uma administração pública municipal trilhe o caminho rumo ao desenvolvimento sustentável de sua cidade, com planejamento e gestão participativa, alinhados aos princípios da governança em suas políticas públicas.
