Convivencia: la vía para generar dominios de libertad y las amenazas a su autopoiesis en la era digital

Abstract

Este es un ensayo que presenta a la libertad como un comportamiento social y no como atributo natural. Ofrece un planteamiento desde el pensamiento complejo y subraya la responsabilidad de la acción en la generación de las condiciones para ejercer la libertad, aquilatando la importancia de la convivencia social. Bajo una postura positiva de la libertad se despliega una mirada contigente del ser humano, evidenciando su tendencia a producir complejidad. La idea principal es que no existe la libertad de manera natural; lo que existen son coordinaciones de acciones consensuadas entre individuos y desde la convivencia es probable que emerjan tales consensos para producir dominios de libertad, pero sólo es una posibilidad, que debe cultivarse como parte de nuestra cultura cívica.
