La educación intercultural bilingüe en Ecuador. ¿Continuidades coloniales?

Abstract

Este artículo se pregunta, cómo se usa la categoría de identificación étnica en Ley Orgánica de Educación Intercultural del Ecuador (2011). Para lo cual se analiza tanto la Ley educativa y como las estructuras institucionales vigentes. Desde el punto de vista metodológico es un análisis documental, realizado con el apoyo del software Atlas ti. El enfoque teórico utilizado es la perspectiva descolonial. Los ejes de análisis son: lo indígena, la interculturalidad y el bilingüismo. Los principales hallazgos descubren la continuidad de las fronteras simbólicas coloniales, que perviven en la dicotómica indígena y no indígena y en la estructura del sistema educativo del Ecuador.
