Do planejamento sem informação à informação para o planejamento: abordagem interdisciplinar

Abstract

Diante da problemática da baixa qualidade da paisagem urbana no Brasil, o objetivo da pesquisa é discutir possíveis contribuições do City Information Modeling (CIM) ao tratamento e monitoramento de cidades. Com estrutura multimétodos, foi pautada em três recortes: temático, com associação do urbanismo a práticas de tecnologias de informação e comunicação; conceitual, com compreensão teórica da paisagem; e temporal, considerando o período de 1960 aos dias atuais. As ideias retrospectivas são vinculadas a crises de modelos de urbanização, desencadeadas pela insuficiência de diagnósticos prévios e seguidas por avanços impulsionados por inovações tecnológicas, que induzem a inflexão do pensamento para as experiências contemporâneas. No trajeto do planejamento sem informação à informação para o planejamento, argumentações prospectivas permitem concluir que o CIM revela significativo potencial como plataforma para a gestão de cidades e seus cenários.
