La hegemonía: una imposición ideológica-cultural

Abstract

La palabra “Hegemonía†ha sido utilizada a lo largo de la historia como sinónimo de “Poder†, sin embargo, en nuestra cultura moderna, tiene un imperativo que la hace girar en torno a una realidad histórica-cultural de domino de masas a través de lo político, económico, ideológico y académico. Por tanto, para comprender el concepto de hegemonía y su evolución desde una visión multidimensional, revisaremos la perspectiva de autores como: Antonio Gramsci, Nicos Poulantzas, Ernesto Laclau y Chantal Mouffe, e Immanuel Wallerstein. En suma, este artículo analiza los elementos teóricos que determinan y le dan significado a dicho concepto, a fin de establecer sus alcances y límites como una categoría de poder cultural.
