Relações de gênero na produção de mulheres agricultoras/feirantes do mercado municipal de Parintins-AM

Abstract

O presente artigo objetiva analisar as relações de gênero presentes nas atividades laborais desenvolvidas por mulheres agricultoras/feirantes do mercado municipal de Parintins, seja na produção agrícola, doméstica, comercialização e demais áreas da vida social; bem como em contraste com a percepção de seus companheiros acerca das ações desenvolvidas por elas. Para tanto foi utilizado como base teórico-metodológica a teoria social crítica associada ao estudo de caso, com abordagem qualitativa. Para coleta de dados foi realizada entrevista com roteiro de perguntas, direcionadas a 9 sujeitos, sendo 06 (seis) agricultoras/feirantes, 2 (dois) companheiros e o secretário de produção e abastecimento municipal. Os dados obtidos apontam as relações de gênero assimétricas, ainda que a mulher tenha ampliado seu espaço de participação no âmbito público, os homens não ampliam suas ações aos trabalhos domésticos (privado).
