Recursos energéticos y bioenergía en la educación secundaria: primeros resultados

Abstract

Este estudio investiga el conocimiento sobre recursos energéticos y cuestiones afines, y las percepciones y actitudes hacia la bioenergía de los estudiantes de secundaria. En concreto, sus objetivos son: 1) Evaluar el nivel de conocimientos sobre recursos energéticos y cuestiones afines y su variación con el nivel académico; 2) Determinar las percepciones y las actitudes hacia la bioenergía y su variación con el nivel académico; y 3) Analizar la relación existente entre las dos medidas anteriores. Se han administrado dos cuestionarios: uno sobre obtención, generación, almacenamiento, transporte, consumo y conservación de la energía; y uno sobre percepciones y actitudes hacia la bioenergía. Han participado un total de 92 estudiantes de educación secundaria de cuatro cursos diferentes. De los resultados obtenidos se puede concluir que: a) el nivel de conocimientos sobre recursos energéticos y cuestiones relacionadas con ellos no es satisfactorio, aunque aumenta significativamente con el nivel académico; b) las percepciones y las actitudes encontradas son mediocres y no mejoran con el nivel académico; y c) existe una correlación significativa y positiva entre el nivel de conocimientos sobre obtención de la energía y las actitudes hacia la bioenergía; y entre el nivel de conocimientos sobre generación, almacenamiento y transporte de la energía, y actitudes hacia la bioenergía.
