Creatividad y resolución de problemas en la educación secundaria: una primera aproximación

Abstract

Existe el convencimiento de que la escuela debe potenciar la creatividad de los estudiantes. El primer objetivo del estudio fue analizar cómo afecta la formación académica de la educación secundaria a la creatividad. La resolución de problemas y la creatividad están íntimamente ligadas desde las bases teóricas de la psicología. El segundo objetivo del estudio fue determinar la influencia de la creatividad en la resolución de un problema. En este estudio se ha administrado un cuestionario sobre creatividad y un problema de las pruebas PISA a 159 estudiantes de educación secundaria de cuatro niveles académicos diferentes. Un análisis de varianza de las puntuaciones del cuestionario sobre creatividad pone en evidencia que la creatividad no mejora con la formación académica. Además, un análisis de correlación simple muestra que las puntuaciones del cuestionario de creatividad y de la resolución del problema PISA presentan una correlación positiva y significativa entre ambas variables.
