Abstract

Con el presente trabajo “El desarrollo sostenible de cara a los espacios menos urbanizados: el caso de la Empresa Azucarera Ciudad Caracas†se pretende examinar la perspectiva del desarrollo en el asentamiento Caracas considerando los criterios de los habitantes, productores, directivos etc., de cara a la sostenibilidad. Para esto se realizará un abordaje teórico sobre lo que es considerado como desarrollo sostenible o sustentable, una pequeña caracterización del campo cubano y lo relacionado con las medidas que se encuentre en función de su bienestar, así como una breve reseña histórica del central Ciudad Caracas. La importancia que se le confiere a este trabajo es que permite realizar un análisis de los problemas agropecuarios existentes en la comunidad Empresa Azucarera Ciudad Caracas según la percepción de las personas que se encuentran implicadas en este proceso.
