Desenvolvimento territorial no Brasil: participação e governança

Abstract

Este artigo discute a proposta de “desenvolvimento territorial†que a partir dos anos 1970 passou a ser debatida no meio acadêmico e político do Estado brasileiro. Destaca-se que a discussão visa estimular o pensamento reflexivo do leitor, pois, acredita-se que refletir os mecanismos que permitem o desenvolvimento econômico e social de diversos espaços territoriais existentes no país é uma atitude necessária, assim, julga-se ser importante compreender as teorizações em torno das concepções que visam o desenvolvimento de um dado território. Portanto, o objetivo deste artigo é abordar as concepções de desenvolvimento dando maior ênfase para a concepção denominada de “Renovada†. No que tange a metodologia, elucida-se que este estudo de cunho exploratório fez uso do procedimento Qualitativo, já que foi necessário realizar levantamentos bibliográficos da temática sobre o desenvolvimento.
