Enfoque de Venezuela en materia de programas o planes de educación, prevención y seguridad vial

Abstract

En el presente artículo se va a analizar el enfoque de Venezuela en materia de programas o planes de educación, prevención y seguridad vial, dado el alto índice de los siniestros viales determinados por el transporte terrestre, pues presentó la mayor tasa de mortalidad de 26 por cada 100.000 habitantes muy por arriba de la registrada en países de altos ingresos según el Observatorio de Seguridad Vial de Venezuela (OSVVZLA, 2014). Se planteó una investigación de diseño no experimental de campo, el nivel descriptivo; la unidad de análisis quedo conformada por las escuelas del estado Vargas; las técnicas de recolección de la información fueron: observación, entrevista, y revisión documental. Finalmente, se evidenció la inexistencia de un Plan Nacional de Seguridad Vial (PNSV) en Venezuela, a lo que se le suma la falta de continuidad e implementación de los programas de educación y seguridad vial existentes.
