Abstract

Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo relacionar a análise das práticas de lazer e sociabilidade de jovens apreciadores do Funk, com um dos conceitos chave da Geografia, que é território. Essa relação será abordada sob uma perspectiva geográfica e sociológica, focando principalmente na conceituação de território e de lazer, fazendo paralelo com a cena Funk local de Presidente Prudente, que ao longo da pesquisa pudemos observar. Os procedimentos adotados são pautados pela consulta bibliográfica pertinente, bem como pela realização de entrevistas com sujeitos inseridos na cenaFunk local. Por fim, o leitor poderá compreender um pouco melhor as práticas de lazer e sociabilidade dos jovens funkeiros, em uma análise que aborda um conceito chave da geografia, o território.
