La teoría sociocultural y la concepción del desarrollo cognitivo

Abstract

Con el presente artículo se pretende hacer llegar al lector los principales fundamentos teóricos de la perspectiva histórica socio-cultural de Lev Semiónovich Vygotsky, siendo ésta una de las principales teorías constructivista a la que el personal docente debe prestar especial atención para comprender el desarrollo cognitivo de nuestros alumnos y entender la importancia que tiene la actividad dentro del aula. Se concluye que es importante e imprescindible la influencia que ejerce la interacción con el entorno histórico, social y cultural en los sujetos, para propiciar su desarrollo y la adquisición de nuevos conocimientos.
