Publicidad del tabaco: Impacto social cognoscitivo de los medios de comunicación

Abstract

La Política Antitabaco se refiere al uso en el contexto de la economía de la industria del tabaco, de un conjunto de acciones encaminadas al control y reducción de la prevalencia del consumo del tabaco. Este artículo explora las medidas gubernamentales para limitar la publicidad del tabaco y sus implicaciones en el impacto cognoscitivo de los potenciales consumidores. Uno de los elementos en el que hace mayor hincapié es el efecto del fracasado Código de Autorregulación de los Productos de Tabaco en España, que llevo a la administración a considerar la prohibición de toda publicidad de la industria del tabaco.
