A formação socio-histórico da cidade de Poxoréu: luta do povo Bororo e a chegada dos garimpeiros (1718 - 1950)

Abstract

Os objetivos deste artigo é analisar a importância e o valor histórico da cidade de Poxoréu, a sudeste do estado de Mato Grosso, demonstrando suas bases socio-históricas, destacando os índios Bororo e a importância dos garimpeiros. Por meios dessa perspectiva, o trabalho sera desenvolvido por meio de pesquisas bibliográficas e de campo. Existem poucos artigos relacionados ao processo sócio-histórico de povoamento de Poxoréu, me estimulando a desenvolver essa pesquisa, visando entender a antropologia dos habitantes da cidade, tendo como base as antigas civilizações e a população garimpeira.
