Estudio de causalidad en accidentes viales ocasionados en la subzona de Chimborazo y sus antecedentes de mortalidad a nivel mundial

Abstract

Los accidentes de carreteras son una de las causas principales de muerte a nivel mundial, por este motivo la seguridad vial con la que cuente una vía debe ser la adecuada ya que si esta es incorrecta puede llevar a que el índice de accidentes incremente desmesuradamente no solo en vehículos motorizados o no motorizadas, sino que contempla también los usuarios vulnerables que circulan por una vía. Dentro de las prioridades de los tomadores de decisión y administrativos está el mejorar la seguridad vial en carreteras como preferencias principales dentro de sus preocupaciones con las que se cuenta en los diferentes países. Se considera importante el diseño geométrico de un plan de señalización al momento de instaurarlo dentro de un lugar para establecer un servicio de seguridad hasta la puesta en operación, para el mejoramiento de la infraestructura tanto en lo referente a problemas que se manifiestan en elevadas ocurrencias de accidentes, como en aquellas que promueven un medio de prevención para evitar estas fatalidades.
