Anã Lise Das Demandas Escolares Da Educaã‡Ãƒo Bã Sica Decorrentes Da Construã‡Ãƒo Da Uhe Belo Monte-Altamira-Pa, Perã Odo 2005-2013

Abstract

Este artigo analisa os efeitos gerados pela construção da Usina Hidrelétrica (UHE) Belo Monte no Município de Altamira-PA, observando as demandas educacionais no período de 2005 a 2013. O estudo foi elaborado a partir de análise bibliográfica e consulta aos dados dos Censos Educacionais de órgãos oficiais nacional, estadual e municipal. Os resultados obtidos indicam que com a construção da UHE Belo Monte ocorreu um aumento populacional no município ocasionando alterações nas demandas sociais, principalmente na educação, com o crescimento de matrículas nos níveis de ensino fundamental e médio, não sendo acompanhado pelo número de escolas, assim como houve a redução na qualidade de ensino observada nos dados do à ndice de Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica (IDEB).
