Abstract

Este artigo objetiva analisar, o processo de colonização e urbanização da Amazônia, que ocorreu de varias formas. No período da borracha, esse processo de urbanização ocorreu de forma intensa principalmente nas principais capitais, Belém e Manaus. Outro período muito importante foi, durante a década de 70, com a abertura da transamazônica . . O estudo foi elaborado com analise bibliográfica de autores que deram suporte para discursão. Para ter o embasamento teórico, serão discutidos alguns autores como, SANTOS (2009) JUNIOR (2012) entre outros. Com a pesquisa , foi constatado que a processo de colonização da Amazônia, apesar de ter ocorrido de varias formas, ocorreu através dos rios e da abertura de estradas, com pessoas vindas de varias lugares do Brasil, essa colonização, continua acontecendo até os dias de hoje, através de projetos coordenados a maioria das vezes pelo governo federal.
