El Turismo En La Conservacion Del Patrimonio Cultural Catã“Lico De Tlaxcala

Abstract

A pesar de los varios intentos que se han hecho en Tlaxcala por atraer derrama económica con el turismo, ni la iniciativa privada o gubernamental, han logrado el éxito esperado pese a contar con la riqueza cultural material e inmaterial de la que otros destinos turísticos posicionados carecen. Además de sitios arqueológicos, arquitectura colonial y de siglo XIX, fiestas patronales y regionales, en Tlaxcala existen recursos y atractivos de Arte Sacro y Religioso. Estos últimos, subvalorados por representar una ideología religiosa, de manera que la posibilidad de aprovechar este recurso, ha sido escasa o nula. Para abrir la posibilidad de atraer al turista a un circuito de Arte Sacro y Religioso en la ciudad de Tlaxcala, se persigue con este trabajo, proponer una metodología que permita inducir al turista a apreciar el Arte Sacro y Religioso, propiciando de esta manera la preservación del patrimonio católico material e inmaterial a través de la actividad turística e inducir desarrollo local.
