Uma Abordagem Da Polã Tica E Da Cidadania Na Disciplina De Sociologia No Ensino Mã‰Dio

Abstract

Este estudo aborda a discussão dos temas política e cidadania nas aulas de Sociologia do Ensino Médio em escolas públicas, tendo como objetivo verificar se o ensino da Sociologia no Ensino Médio aborda de forma ampla e atualizada os temas política e cidadania, de forma a esclarecer o adolescente sobre sua importância no processo de formação do estado brasileiro. Após breve discussão sobre o tema com base na literatura, por meio de uma pesquisa descritiva e aplicação de um instrumento de pesquisa na forma de questionário com questões fechadas de resposta simples, aplicadas a uma amostra de 94 sujeitos do 3° ano do Ensino Médio Politécnico de uma escola pública estadual de Balneário Pinhal/RS, investigando a relação da disciplina e o conhecimento de política e cidadania pelos alunos, constatou-se que apesar de os conteúdos da mesma abordarem temas relacionados, ainda estão muito distantes da real necessidade e muito aquém de um aprofundamento que permita ao aluno amplitude e domínio das questões dos temas em discussão.
