Abstract

O presente artigo está arquitetado em duas seções, a primeira pretende esquadrinhar detidamente, o candente debate dos conceitos de trabalho escravo contemporâneo à baila da recente historiografia cotejando-os historicamente. A segunda parte propõe uma reflexão o conceito de experiência vivida de Thompson. Compreendemos, pois, que as disputas conceituais em torno da temática da escravidão contemporânea no Brasil refletem a sua relevância social e acadêmica. Deste modo, objetivando a ampliação do instrumental teórico e aprofundamento dos estudos e reflexões futuros acerca deste tema.
