Abstract

O artigo visou compreender a participação das políticas públicas pesqueiras no Brasil, especificamente, no estado do Pará, descrevendo a trajetória da Secretaria de Estado de Pesca e Aquicultura do Pará: Os fundamentos da sua criação, desempenho das atividades, a motivação da extinção e as consequências para o setor pesqueiro.
