Cultura Popular E Identidade: Relaã‡Ã•Es Possã Veis No ÂMbito Das Ciãšncias Sociais

Abstract

O presente artigo é fruto de leitura e análise acerca dos estudos sobre Cultura Popular e Identidade. Partindo das definições destas duas categorias, procura-se estabelecer uma relação possível entre elas, bem como entender como tais manifestações estão presentes em grupos sociais diferentes e indivíduos distintos, frutos de uma sociedade globalizada e plural ao mesmo tempo. Vale ressaltar que a reflexão sobre Cultura Popular e Identidade são pautadas nas Ciências Sociais e na Antropologia, mas também podem ser estudadas por outras áreas das humanidades. Definir Cultura Popular não é tarefa fácil, pois muitas visões e posturas a cercam, mas longe de definir tal conceito, é importante entendê-lo, para a partir daí estabelecer uma relação de proximidade com a Identidade ou as várias Identidades construídas pelas pessoas ao longo da vida. São utilizados como suporte teórico para discutir sobre Cultura Popular e Identidade textos de ARANTES(1981), AYALA (1995), ORTIZ (1998), CUCHE (1999), ROCHA (2004), BURKE (2010), HALL (2003), BOSI (2008), entre outros.
