Abstract

A Governança no contexto da gestão por processos tem por objetivo organizar e ordenar a Gestão de Processos de negócio nas organizações de forma a viabilizá-la como um elemento de gestão organizacional capaz de contribuir para o aumento da performance dos processos e, consequentemente, da organização. A ausência de governança, ou de uma estrutura de Governança de Processos implementada e bem definida, foi colocada pelos especialistas em processos como um dos principais problemas atuais da Gestão de Processos, e considerado como o grande desafio atual da Gestão de Processos. Este trabalho aborda a visão de autores em algumas obras que contribuem sobre o assunto, relatando os conceitos, dificuldades e melhorias que a elaboração de uma governança sólida traz no delineamento e implementação com sucesso da gestão de processos, seja ela no setor público ou privado.
